We are extremely excited to share this year’s film festival program with you!
In the last few months, we have had the honour of watching scores of amazing documentaries and have been spoilt for choice. We have picked a selection of forty outstanding documentariesthat focus on democracy, freedom and women’s rights. Many of them highlight injustices and human rights violations in this world –but you will also find new perspectives, ideas for solutions and films that celebrate the courage and commitment of their protagonists.
Because we are aware of what history has the potential to teach us, we have decided to show three documentaries about the life’s workof iconic advocate for global justice and former Nuremberg prosecutor Benjamin Ferencz: A MAN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, NIGHT WILL FALL und WATCHERS OF THE SKY.
