START YOUR OWN CAMPAIGN FOR #LEAVENOONEBEHIND

Become a changemaker by starting your own fundraising campaign for #LeaveNoOneBehind! For example, you can organise a charity run or a flea market or use your birthday as a fundraising event. #LeaveNoOneBehind actively supports refugees by providing platforms and resources for initiatves at the EU's external borders and beyond. BECOME A GUARDIAN FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINOR REFUGEES

Akinda is a project of XENION - Psychosocial Support for Politically Persecuted Persons e.V. For 25 years. XENION has been training, connecting, advising, and supporting volunteers who take on guardianships for unaccompanied minor refugees. Guardians help young people navigate their new life circumstances and assist them in building a safe and secure future.

Engagement in Everyday Life

SUPPORT WOMEN IN EXILE & FRIENDS

Women in Exile is an initiative founded by refugee women in 2002 in Brandenburg to fight for their rights. It serves as a bridge between the refugee movement and the feminist movement. The activists visit women in refugee camps in Berlin-Brandenburg, working together to find strategies to improve their living conditions. Small donations help ensure the continuity of their important work.

SIGN THE PETITION AGAINST THE PAYMENT CARD FOR REFUGEES

Even after the decision to introduce the so-called ‘payment card’ for refugees, the Berlin Refugee Council is collecting signatures against it in order to send a clear signal against the disenfranchisement of those affected.

SIGN THE PETITION AGAINST THE CRIMINALISATION OF SEA RESCUE

Seawatch.org is an organisation for the rescue of refugees in distress in the Mediterranean. In this petition, Seawatch demands the complete investigation of shipwrecks and calls on the European member states to end the delay, the omission of rescues and the criminalisation of civil sea rescue.

SUPPORT REFUGEE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH SPORTS AND ADVENTURE PROGRAMMES

kein Abseits e.V. has been realising educational leisure projects to promote active participation, greater educational equality and enriching interaction in Berlin since 2011. As a volunteer in the sports and adventure programme, you enable playful encounters and support children at refugee shelters with sports, games and environmental education.
