Verein Iranischer Flüchtlinge

The Association of Iranian Refugees in Berlin provides comprehensive support for Iranian and Afghan refugees, especially during the initial phase of the asylum process. It informs asylum seekers about their rights, prepares them for the procedure, and assists with finding lawyers and translating documents. The service is not limited to people in Berlin but is used nationwide, often by phone or online. As one of the few specialised contact points, the association also plays an important role in providing information and support to other advisory centres.

The Telefon Seelsorge offers anonymous and confidential support around the clock via phone, chat, or email. People in crisis or difficult situations can talk about their worries, fears, or life questions and receive professional help and guidance.

The Muslim Counseling Hotline offers confidential advice and support for Muslims in crisis or challenging life situations. Trained counselors are available by phone or email to discuss worries, fears, and personal concerns.

GLADT e.V. offers free psychosocial counselling for LSBTI*Q+ people affected by racism in Berlin – anonymous, confidential and based on solidarity and peer support, available in multiple languages.

OFEK e.V., founded in 2017 in Berlin, is the first specialist counselling centre in Germany dedicated to professional and community-oriented support for those affected by antisemitism.
