Film screening followed by a discussion
Ahead of its official cinema release, we are presenting The Voice of Hind Rajab in cooperation with Amnesty International Germany and the International League for Human Rights.

The Voice of Hind Rajab is the latest film by Oscar-nominated director Kaouther Ben Hania.
Combining reconstructed scenes with original audio recordings, the film retraces the story of six-year-old Hind Rajab, who was trapped in a car under fire by Israeli forces in Gaza. Her case drew international attention and stands as a example of the thousands of children killed in Gaza between 2023 and 2025.
The screening will be followed by a discussion on the film and the current situation in Gaza, including Juan Sarmiento, cinematographer of The Voice of Hind Rajab. Moderated by Katja Müller-Fahlbusch, Middle East expert at Amnesty International. Further participants will be announced shortly.

During this year’s festival season, the film has already received multiple awards: in addition to the Silver Lion at the Venice International Film Festival, it won the Audience Award at the San Sebastián Film Festival and was submitted as Tunisia’s entry for the Academy Award
