Be part of the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin 2026!
Are you a fan of documentary films and passionate about human rights? Would you like to look behind the scenes of an exciting international film festival and be part of a dedicated team of like-minded people? Then you've come to the right place!
The Human Rights Film Festival Berlin is looking for dedicated volunteers for the festival period from April 10th to 18th, 2026. This year’s motto “Where Stories Fight Back” sets the tone for powerful stories, that address pressing global challenges on the screen. For that, we need your support to create a meaningful experience for our guests and audience.
Three shifts: Support us for at least 3 shifts during the preparation period or festival. A shift lasts a maximum of 6 hours.
Reliability and good communication: Please understand that managing a lot of people is not easy! Therefore, we ask you to be reliable: show up in time and fulfill your task with attentiveness and responsibility. If you get sick, which can happen of course, please inform us as soon as possible so we can look for a replacement.
Festival Pass: You will receive a festival pass that grants you access to all film screenings and panel discussions. You will also receive an invitation to the Opening Ceremony and Awards Ceremony.
Behind-the-scenes insights: Experience first-hand how an international film festival is organized and meet exciting guests from all over the world.
Dedicated team: Work with a dynamic team of film lovers and human rights activists and make new contacts.
