Education should always be possible

Education should always be possible, no matter what. For that reason, the EU is investing in education in crisis situations around the world.
Between 2015 and 2022, over 20 million children and youngsters have benefited from EU-funded projects for education in emergencies. The EU dedicates 10% of its initial humanitarian aid budget to education in emergency situations.

The campaign, launched in 2022 and 2023 aims to help young Europeans age 16-30 to better understand and reflect on the positive impact that EU-funded education projects have for young people in areas affected by humanitarian crises.

Education, No Matter What, is an initiative from the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations of the European Commission (DG ECHO)
