Alarms sound as medical workers shuttle tightly wrapped bodies on gurneys and stretchers. CORONATION gives unseen insights in the lock-down in Wuhan, China, during the Covid-19 outbreak in the spring of 2020. Ai Wei-wei remotely directed and produced the film is a chilling look at life under lockdown and state control in Wuhan through the lens of ordinary citizens living in Wuhan.
