In Spain, eighteen musicians are fighting for freedom of the arts and expression. Three Catalan rappers have been sentenced to years in prison for making political statements in their lyrics. A new law to combat online terrorism has made this possible. The directors compellingly bring together the voices of those affected. The film gives a platform to the Catalan music scene, which comes together to create a powerful soundtrack to this story and views art as political resistance. Musicians like Ana Tijoux, Yolan-da Sey and Albert Pla reinterpret some of the controversial lyrics.
- Followed by Q&A: The screenings on 7 Oct and 9 Oct will be followed by a Q&A with Co-producer and Author Adriano Galante.
