Retrograde

A troop of American soldiers stationed at Camp Shorab is in the midst of training the Afghan military in modern combat when President Biden announces that the US will be pulling out of the country by 21 August 2021. It is the beginning of an ill-fated withdrawal. An Afghan national army general must come to terms with the fact that the American forces may not be enough to stop the Taliban from retaking the country once they leave, all the while trying his best to inspire confidence in his own men while they cope with feelings of abandonment.
