But now is perfect

The film is a touching story about humanity, friendship and hope taking place in Riace, Italy, a ghost town like many others until its mayor opens the doors to refugees. Quickly a new society emerges and new friendships are made, but this oasis of inclusion and mutual support is short-lived, as politics shift and the government stops financing Riace’s project. Gradually, chaos and uncertainty spreads among the residents and many have to leave. Among others, BUT NOW IS PERFECT follows the story of Becky, a Nigerian girl whose replacement from Riace will end in tragedy, leaving her fellow villagers in grief.
