Igor Tuleya has lost his immunity. For the government, he is public enemy number one, because Poland's ruling PiS party is striving for unlimited control. Standing in its way are the independent courts, and with them, people like Igor, who is a judge. When the party came to power, it began by taking over the Constitutional Court, before removing over 200 court presidents from their posts. If its reforms continue, the judiciary will completely lose its impartiality and independence. Together with other judges, Igor wants to save the Polish constitution. To do so, the judges cast off their robes and take to the streets. Their tool: the law.
